Several Draik Eggs are available, and allow Neopets players to obtain a Draik for a pet. Draik Eggs are a rare commodity in the land of Neopia, and they are also quite costly. The Island Draik Egg has a rarity value of 98, and can be obtained by going to three spots on the Neopets' site. The eggs are randomly stocked in the "Almost Abandoned Attic," which is available to users who have an account that is three years or older. The eggs are also sold by other users in the Auctions and Trading Post.
Instructions
Almost Abandoned Attic
1. Log in to your account on Neopets and search for an Island Draik Egg at the Almost Abandoned Attic. Click the "Explore" link on the top menu bar. Scroll down the next page and select the link to the "Haunted Woods."
2. Locate the "Gypsy Camp" sign and click it. The sign is on the top right side of the Haunted Woods map. The next page has several buttons to choose from. Click the one that says, "Follow the creepy path past the edge of the camp," which leads to the village of Neovia.
3. Find the Almost Abandoned Attic on the Neovian map. The building is not labeled and appears to be a house. It is on the left side of the map and has a brown door. Click on the building to enter the shop.
4. Wait for the appropriate time and refresh the page to find an Island Draik Egg. The shop stocks it at random times throughout the day (see Resources). Quickly click on the egg as soon as it appears, as there are likely many people trying to get rare items in the shop.
Auction House
5. Check the Neopian Auction House for an Island Draik Egg. Click the "Shops" link on the top menu bar and locate the Auction House on the top left of the Neopian Central map. Click on the house to enter.
6. Select the blue "Auction Genie" link underneath the image of the auctioneer, and type "Island Draik Egg" in the search box under the genie's image. Click the "Search Auctions" button.
7. Look through the search results to find the deal that looks best to you. Click on the auction you wish to bid on, which will lead to the bid page. Type the amount you wish to offer in the bid box, and click the "Place a bid" button. Refresh the page often to see where the bidding stands. You may need to bid several times in order to obtain the Draik Egg.
Trading Post
8. Find an Island Draik Egg in the Trading Post. Go to the "Shops" link at the top of the page and select the "Trading Post" link from the drop-down menu. Click the blue "Browse Lots" link at the top of the page.
9. Type "Island Draik Egg" in the search box, which is below the search criteria area. Select the "Newest" option button to get the most recent trade results. Click the "Find those trades" button.
10. Locate the trade that most appeals to you and click the "Make an offer" button. A list of items you have in your inventory will appear. Select the item you wish to trade and type in a neopoints amount in the box below the items. Click the "Make an offer" to finalize your offer. The seller will have the option to either accept or refuse your offer.
