Maintained by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's Florida Crime Prevention Center Public Access System and participating law enforcement offices throughout the state, the Wanted Persons Search is an online tool for citizens to look up a Florida suspect's warrant by name, nickname, race, date of birth or sex. Any citizen with access to a home computer can use the Wanted Persons Search, which is located on the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's Public Access System website. However, citizens may not act on the findings or assume that the warrant is still active.
Instructions
1. Visit the "Wanted Persons Search" on the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's Public Access System website. Enter in the suspect's information, such as last name, first name and date of birth, to narrow down your search.
2. Find the suspect's name on the "Wanted Person Search" results page. The suspect's name will be followed by the suspect's date of birth, race, sex and reporting agency county.
3. Click on the suspect's name for a detailed description of the warrant. The detailed description will include the suspect's violation, nicknames or aliases, height, weight, eye and hair color, a list of any scars, tattoos or marks, the date of warrant, warrant number and agency case number, and the suspect's last known occupation and address.
