FooPets act similar to real pets. The litter box, however, is virtual.
FooPets is a virtual pet service that you can sign up for online and pay for with a monthly membership fee. FooPets offers a choice of animated kittens and puppies of different breeds, which, according to FooPets, are able to stimulate thirst and hunger, play with (virtual) toys and return affection to their owners. FooPets is a creation of FooMojo, Incorporated, and is designed to recreate the bond between humans and pets in a virtual environment. With a single monthly membership, a subscriber can have up to 50 virtual pets.
Instructions
1. Choose a puppy or kitten from the FooPets main page by clicking on the one that you like. Once chosen, click on the "Adopt this Pet Now" button in the center of the page.
2. Write the pet's name in the field provided once the pop up window appears. Click the check button next to "He's a Boy" or "She's a Girl" depending on preference. Click the button labeled, "Continue With Adoption."
3. Select your own date of birth and gender from the menus provided on the next page. Click the "Continue" button.
4. Enter your email address and a password for your FooPets account into the fields provided. Click the check box next to the words, "I've read and understand the Terms and Conditions" once you've read the terms of conditions (do this by clicking on the highlighted text). Click the "Continue" button.
5. Choose your membership package by clicking on one of the options on the page. At the time of publication, a One Month membership to ClubFoo was approximately $5 per month, a One Month Recurring membership to ClubFoo Plus was $10 and six months of ClubFoo Plus was $40.
6. Enter your credit card information and click the "Purchase Now" button.
