Make Kids Grow Up In The Sims

The Sims for the PC allows you to follow the life of a character you create. You can marry, have children and create a household. One limitation is the ability for children to grow--your character's children grow from babies but stay the same age throughout the game. However, there are methods you can use to make kids grow up in the Sims, even if the game doesn't allow it.

Instructions

1. Purchase the "Makin' Magic" expansion pack. You can't make kids grow up normally so you need a magic spell from the "Makin' Magic" game. Install the pack and start the game.

2. Learn magic spells and charms from the expansion pack. Buy a bookshelf and read the spell book and cook book to find out what you need for specific magic.

3. Gather the ingredients for "The Age of Instant" spell. Get two dragon scales from Vicki Vampiress or by grooming a pet dragon and one toadstool from Apothecary Todd or by sitting on the Champignon Toadstool Chair. You must be an adult to get and use these items--children cannot.

4. Make the charm and cast the spell on the child you want to become an adult. Once you use the spell the child should grow up and become an adult.

5. Play the newly turned adult as you would your other adult Sims. The character remains in your house until he or she gets married, dies or moves away.
