Selling your gently used, brand new or unneeded items online doesn't have to be a hassle. Using Craigslist's easy template and anonymous email system will allow you to sell DVDs, CDs, books, furniture and more in a safe manner.
Instructions
Post Items for Sale on Craigslist
1. Open your Internet browser and go to Craigslist.com.
2. Click on the city, state or country in which you would like to post your item for sale, located on the right side of the Craigslist homepage.
3. Click "Post to Classifieds" located on the left side of the Craigslist homepage.
4. Click "Items for Sale" under the list of possible classified postings.
5. Choose a category in which your item for sale fits into. For example, for a fitness DVD choose cds/dvds/vhs. If you are selling Beanie Babies choose a category such as collectibles.
6. If needed, choose a smaller area in the city, state or region you have picked to post into. This makes it easier for people to search.
7. Type the name of what you are selling into the Title box. Enter the price you are selling it for and your location, if you want. Enter your email address, then click the button to anonymize it. Type a brief explanation of what you have for sale in the Posting Description. Click Continue.
8. Review your posting, click Continue or Edit to go back and revise.
9. Click Accept on the Terms of Use page.
10. Enter the security code and click Continue.
