Play Littlest Pet Shop With Children

Littlest Pet Shop brings delight and imagination to children ages 4 and up. The little bobbing heads of dogs, cats, monkeys, birds, mice, hamsters and more are endless. The cute little toys create a world for the child that an adult enters, bringing smiles and laughs as described in these steps.

Instructions

1. Set up the Littlest Pet Shop. The key to a successful play session with Littlest Pet Shop is setting their play shop up and the pets in and around the play shop. The set up is the most crucial part of playing with Littlest Pet Shop. They must be set up perfectly at various areas of the house, depending on how many the child has.

2. Get to know each pet. Ask the child each pet's name. If there are a lot of them, more than 10, do your best to remember their names. If you can recall at least 5 Littlest Pet Shop names, consider yourself no longer a novice; you are a Littlest Pet Shop parent.

3. Ask the child, "What do the pets want to do?" Most kids like to take them to the mall. This is so they can go shopping and try on their stuff. Again, set up takes place--setting up the pets at the mall.

4. Expect to move around the area setting up Littlest Pet Shop, here and there. If the child has a lot of Littlest Pet Shop pets, like 25 or more, be ready to set them up in groups throughout the area. This is a key to playing. You might have some at the mall, some at the movies, some at home or wherever they want to go.

5. Take them with you if you are taking your child on errands, visiting a friend or family member or going to the athletic club. No doubt your daughter wants to bring them along. Let it happen. This is a great way for her to learn organized play and responsibility.
