Flowers of many kinds bloom the whole year-round at Callaway Gardens, near Waverly Hall
Waverly Hall is a small town of fewer than 1,000 people, according to 2009 figures, and is 10 miles north of Fort Benning, and 15 miles northeast of Columbus. To the north is Pine Mountain, a popular recreation area, as well as the famed Callaway Gardens and the Franklin Roosevelt State Park. Many hotels are in Columbus, and there are a few at the state park around Pine Mountain which cater to tourists.

Features
Waverly Hall's claim to fame is a greenway that runs through the middle of town. The greenway is a trail made from an old railroad bed that once ran through town. The trail connects with the many other trails in the area and provides miles of hiking opportunities.
