Getting your hot dog cart organized for a big sales day is the key to good profits. You don't want customers standing in line forever waiting on their fresh hot dogs. It's simply not good hot dog cart business. Being organized for the hot dog cart big sales day will help you serve customers faster and more efficiently to make even more money.
Instructions
1. Write down a list of items that you will need extra, to make your hot dog cart sale day a success. You'll need extra buns and hot dogs. You need additional paper products and condiments. Write down everything extra you can think of for your hot dog cart supplies.
2. Review your hot dog cart inventory. Look at your list from step 1. Mark off any items that you have plenty of from the list.
3. Shop for the items that are left on your list (from step 2). Make certain to do this at least 2 days prior to the big hot dog cart sale you'll be throwing.
4. Write down a list of items to pack on the hot dog cart and van the night before the event.
5. Write down a list of items to pack in the van or car and the hot dog cart the morning of the event.
6. Pack up all the hot dog cart items you need the night before and mark them off of your list (see step 4)
7. Ask or hire a friend or family member to help you run your hotdog cart the day of the big event. One person can add condiments and take the money. The other person can restock the hotdog cart and place the dogs on the buns. Three people works best but two will keep you organized and your hotdog cart customers from waiting in line too long.
