The Jersey City nightlife is best known for it shore-side dance clubs and blues bars but its restaurants are just as reputable. The benefit of being right near the shore, as well as Liberty Park, allows for incredible scenery while dining out on the pier. Liberty House is one of the most luxurious restaurants in Jersey City and their wine list can't be beat.

One of Jersey City's best kept secrets Rasio's is a great spot for Indian food and it has a fully-stocked bar. It is most known for its soups and lunch specials, but be sure to try the Chicken Vindaloo, which is chicken in vinegar and peppers, or try one of its homemade deserts.

Brownstone Diner and Pancake Factory is a small town Jersey Mom and Pop diner that was opened in 1966. All of the meals have a home-cooked vibe to them, from old fashioned buttermilk pancakes and German pancakes, to fajitas or grilled steak. Pretty much any iconic American diner entree you might have a craving for is on its menu, but the pancakes are the best.
