Baby Changing Relay
This baby shower game channels a little friendly competition and it gets guests up out of their seats. To begin the game, first split guests into relay teams. The number of teams you have depends on how many people are present, since you need five team members. Give each team a doll that's completely dressed, wearing a diaper, and swaddled in a blanket. At the sound of "Go!" have the first player on each team unwrap the blanket and then pass the doll to the next team member. The second team member must then undress the baby and pass it to the third team member so she can change the diaper. The next person must put the clothes back on the baby and pass it to the next person so she can swaddle it. The first team that completes changing the baby wins.
Don't Say "Baby"
This is a silly game that also doubles as an ice breaker because it gets guest interacting with each other. Once all of your guests have arrived, pass out diaper pins or clothes pins for them to wear on their shirt. Let everyone know that they cannot say "baby" for the entire baby shower. If a guest says "baby" and someone hears them, he or she can steal the offender's pin. The person with the most pins at the end of the shower wins a gift.
Baby Bottle Chugging
Give each guest a baby bottle filled with whatever liquid you choose. At your signal ask all the guests to start drinking. They must drink as much of the liquid from the bottle through the nipple, as quickly as possible. The first person to finish his or her drink wins.
Guess Mommy's Measurements
This baby shower game focuses on the guest of honor and it gives the mommy much-needed attention. To begin this game, pass around a ball of yarn and a pair of scissors. Ask each guest to cut off a length of string that they think will fit perfectly around the waist of the soon-to-be mommy. Once everyone has their piece of string, ask each person to come up and measure the mom-to-be's belly by wrapping it around her waist. Whoever has the string that comes closest to fitting the mom-to-be's belly wins the game.
