Delete file history from a saving screen
When you download an image or file from the Internet, your computer keeps track of the files you've saved. A saving screen appears in Firefox, Opera and Safari once the download is complete. Depending on your Web browser, you can customize where the files are saved or save them to a designated location each time. As you save additional files, the number of files in the saving screen will increase. Deleting the save file history removes them from the screen, but does not delete the actual files from your computer.
