Yahoo! Instant Messenger is used for keeping in touch with people and sharing music and files. It's even more enjoyable when a group of friends gather to chat online at one time. Once you have Yahoo! Instant Messenger installed, meeting in the Chat Room is a breeze.
Instructions
1. Download the latest version of Yahoo! Instant Messenger. Add friends to your contacts list.
2. Look for the "Invite Users" icon and enter the user you want to invite to your conversation. Add a message to make your invitation more personal. Click the "Invite" option to send the invitation.
3. Invite more friends by clicking the "Chat" link in the Chat window and then select "Invite More People." Scan through your list of friends and double-click on the names of the friends you want to join the chat and choose "Add." Another way to put them in your invitation box is to double click on their name in your list.
4. Remove friends from the invitation list by highlighting their name in the box on the right, then click "Remove."
5. Chat with friends who are not on your Yahoo! Messenger list by selecting "Chat" in the chat window then choosing "Invite More People." Instead of highlighting names, click on the "Invite Other" button and enter their Yahoo! Instant Messenger ID; they need to have Messenger installed and running on their computer to join the chat.
