Create An Ordination Certificate

A certificate of ordination can help prove you are a minister.

A certificate of ordination lets others know you've been ordained and approved by a religious organization to officiate a marriage, help with funeral preparations, provide spiritual support to those around you and a variety of other spiritual practices in which ministers typically engage. Most ordination companies will provide you an ordination certificate upon request or for a fee. If you need to make one yourself, however, use a free website that offers certificate templates, This allows you to customize your ordination certificate to your personal preferences.

Instructions

1. Navigate to websites such as Hoover Web Design, Free Printable Certificates or Certificate Street that offer free downloadable or printable ordination certificate templates.

2. Click on the template you wish to use. Fill in the name, along with any applicable titles such as "Minister," "Reverend," "Chaplain" or "Priest." Edit the template for accuracy.

3. Save the template to your hard drive or to a flash drive or SD memory card. Any type of portable storage device of your preference will also work, such as a CD or USB memory card.

4. Print the certificate. If you don't own a printer, use one at a friend's house or try your local library or cyber caf .
