The Old West and horses are synonymous with Texas, and that lives on in today's Texas even in small towns like Temple.
Texas is home to many types of equine disciplines ranging from English to Western, from Rodeo to a three-day competition called Eventing. Temple, Texas, although small, is no exception. There is enough diversity in events and horse activities throughout the town and the immediate area to give equine lovers of all types something to anticipate.
